Antalya is a vibrant resort city on Turkey’s southwestern Mediterranean coast, known for its warm climate, dramatic mountain backdrops, and pebbled beaches. Its charming old town, Kaleici, blends Ottoman-era architecture with a bustling harbor, ancient Roman ruins, and lively bazaars.
We spent two weeks in Antalya. This is a city we had always wanted to visit when we lived in Istanbul, but departing earlier than we expected waylaid our plans. We spent half the time in Lara and half in Konyaalti.
